Job Details for Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will work with the sales team within the New Jersey territory to present Cisco solutions to customers. Qualified candidate must be able to do network discoveries, conduct customer interviews, design, present solutions, respond to RFPs, create SOWs, do pricing, BOMs, and act as liaison between sales and operations.

Qualifications

* Extensive experience designing VoIP and IP Telephony solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.
* Incorporate Cisco IP Telephony as a standalone design as well as part of a solution including VoIP PBX, TDM PBX, Voicemail, ACD and other third party applications to provide an effective solutuion for the customers environment.
* Knowledge in two or more Cisco voice applications such as Unified Communications Manager, Unity or Unity Connection, Meeting Place, IPCC, Mobile Connect/Mobile Manager.
* Strong understanding of dialing plans, call routing, voice circuits and protocols, knowledge of tradition TDM PBX's such as Avaya, Nortel, Mitel a plus.
* In-depth knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN Switching and QoS.
* 4+ years sales engineer experience
* Cisco certifications, including CCVP and CCIE, a plus.
