Our client has an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced telecommunications operations manager to direct their Chicago branch. This person will direct and control all Branch functions including, installation and service and will be responsible for customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profit.

• Achieve all financial goals for the Branch. Branch P&L responsibility.
• Build customer relationships and manage operations activities.
• Manage all customer activities, including installation of new systems, MAC, maintenance and related service activities. Review and initiate maintenance agreements with customers.
• Manage field personal for most effective performance and timely completion of all service orders.
• Manage Project Managers and provide leadership on all installation activities.
• Achieve company-established Customer Satisfaction levels. Develop and enhance Customer Satisfaction programs.
• Promote and improve Employee Satisfaction levels through programs that address morale, communications, and training. Develop technical training plan to ensure technical skill requirements are met.
• Support sales staff and work with Area Director of Sales to promote new equipment sales.

Qualified applicants will possess the following:
• 7+ years management experience in telecommunications industry, including profit and loss responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge in service of medium and large telecommunication PBXetwork systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of budgets and financial management.
• Background in management of field technicians, service, manpower scheduling, training, and pricing. Good understanding of service labor and materials pricing.
• Avaya product experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of labor union practices and procedures helpful.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
